The blade shape, materials and thicknesses of the Devil's Claw 2 are the same as the original. The Hawkbill blade shape has proven itself many times over, whether you use it for self-defense or for opening boxes. The only real update between this and the original is that the handle has been lengthened to fit the user's entire hand as well as the ring on the pommel. A great EDC knife!
